Overview
Local tourism operators in Thailand increasingly need an online presence, but building and maintaining a website and social media channels can be costly and time-consuming for small community groups. This project worked with the Pongyeang tourism community in Chiang Mai to design a community website and social media page where stakeholders could share and manage their own content in one place. Using an agile development approach, local users were involved throughout the entire build process, resulting in a live site at pongyeangtravel.com that quickly attracted local visitors.
